Blogger Spotlight: Raquel, Thavin Marcob

We here at OBL are back at it again with another Blogger spotlight. This week we spoke with Raquel from Thavin & Marcob about her delightful blog and company.

Q: Would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?

A: Hi everyone,

I am Raquel from Thavin & Marcob. Our lifestyle blog is a huge part of our company. Through our blog we are able to share tips, tricks, hacks, lessons learned, goals to attain, daily struggles, and family fun. Thavin & Marcob is a family owned and operated company, which is something we are very proud of. We love establishing authentic and organic relationships with our audience, which is exactly what our lifestyle blog so graciously helps us to achieve.  

Q: What has been your journey to this point?

A: I was a stay at home mom for 21 years before I decided to embark on the journey that is Thavin & Marcob. As of today, I am a little over 3 years into my journey, I have learned so much, failed half a billion times, and still I’m enjoying every second of it. I absolutely love what I do, the blogging, the interacting with people far and near, as well as the passion for fashion that I have. Our journey to this point has been hectically crazy, but one I am grateful for and one I would not trade for the world.

Q: What are your current ventures? Your blog?

A: 2018 was a tremendously great and full of change year for Thavin & Marcob. We enthusiastically expanded our store front, giving us three times as much space to pursue and share our passion with everyone we meet. All of us are extremely optimistic for the wonders that 2019 is saving for us. So Much so that we are currently working on a rather gigantic expansion for this coming January. We also in 2019 plan to stay true to our roots. We love to support others just starting out. We know the struggles and the fears that come along with new adventures. Which is why in 2019 our lifestyle blog plans to be a bigger avenue for guest bloggers to share their passion with our supportive community.  

Q: What goals do you have?

A: My goals are simple, yet comically complicated at the same time. My overall goal is to keep growing. To keep growing as a person, as a company, as a mother, and as a wife. I would like to continue to strive towards the best version of myself I can possibly be. In allowing myself to expand who I am as a person my goal is to ultimately grow Thavin & Marcob. Beyond our new expansion in January, I would like to see Thavin & Marcob continue to grow into the company that we envisioned it would be all those years back in the living room of our rental house. Our lifestyle blog also holds the goal of being a bigger avenue for supporting guest bloggers.

Q: How can our readers find you?

A: I am social, I love to connect with new and old friends. All of the Thavin & Marcob social media accounts are ran and maintained by yours truly because I honestly love the genuine and authentic connections that can be made from social media. Which is why I do choose to be in charge of our accounts. That true personal connection is something that both I and the entirety of Thavin & Marcob highly value.

I use twitter.com/ThavinMarcob to focus on business. I share what we have going on in the website, but I also share a lot of articles I found helpful for the day.

I use instagram.com/ThavinMarcob to share our life. This is where you will find pictures of my day off, the store, my adventures, hey sometimes I even post a pic of my cup of coffee. Instagram is all about us.

I use Facebook.com/ThavinMarcob to keep everyone updated on what we have going on at the storefront.
