In Majorca for 3 nights, where to stay?

Hi, I will be traveling in Spain with my parents, husband, and 3 year old daughter in mid/late June. We are planning to go to Majorca for 3 nights. Coming from BCN and heading to Madrid afterwards. Im debating whether to stay in Palma or elsewhere. Most importantly, I want a really nice hotel. If it’s close to a nice beach that would be great. Good restaurants on property or nearby. It’s my dad’s 60th birthday so I want something special. Will likely want to rent a car to explore the island. Thanks!

You might think that the UK is an expensive place to live, but in global terms, except for property, the UK compares quite well. Countries like France, Italy, Australia and the USA are all more expensive to live than the UK.
